winter is coming, which means you'll be stuck inside a lot,
so take advantage of the great entertainment this city has to offer!

get the gang together.
have a girl's night out.
round up the guys.
pick some theater for a first date.
get a baby sitter.
have a halloween outing.
whatever.
just get out and have some fun. :-)

HEY! my mom is singing in an acapella women's group!!
they're great! in fact i've heard them and they kick ass!!!
now, you must understand that in the current youth vernacular,
that is the highest ranking kudo in the book.
well, except maybe "they don't suck."
but that's hardly appropriate.
we're talking about my mom here.
anyway...
they're wonderful and charming,

so come check out this NEW coffee shop in the haymarket
and hear some talented people do their thing...

well, carter vanpelt is at it again.
carter has attracted some great reggae to this town in recent years,
and saturday marks the return of a truly great reggae band.
i know there are a BUNCH of reggae fans on this list,
so you should pay particular attention to this.
although, you guys probably already know that
culture will play the royal grove saturday, october 13th
starting at 9PMish
