hi everybody.
i've really had some fun seeing live music recently.
so now i figure i have the obligation of doing my best to put some out.
you may/not know, i sing with the nine live cats

we're having a gig THIS SATURDAY
November 3 at Duggan's Pub (11th & K)
we'll get started about 9ish.
but this is rock'n'roll, so there are no guarantees.
it'll cost you $4.

the last time we played duggan's we really had a great time,
and our performance was a good step above
any of the previous gigs this lineup has played.
the audience seemed to have a blast,
but the band REALLY got its rocks off.
so i'm really excited about building on that momentum.

i hope you make at least a little effort to come see us.
since sept 11, i've noticed a sharp decline in attendance at
all live music shows i've attended. which could mean a lot of things.
to the people who'd rather spend their saturday night with family i say:
there's no better way to spend your time.
to the people who'd like to see some friends,
use this weekend to get out of the house before winter comes
and get a shot of positive energy, i say:
the nine live cats gig is the place for you.
there's a great atmosphere at these shows.
come be part of it.

this is a damn funny, funny, funny, funny production.
(yeah, i know i said funny 4, well now 5, times.)
i saw them do this show at the community playhouse and laughed my ass off.
seriously.
i lost 5 pounds.
so come to the hilarious weight-loss program everyone is raving about.

they're using the space that used to be the star city dinner theater.
it's now called the haymarket theatre - right next to aurturo's in the haymarket.
(i see a pattern there...)
they'll be performing November 1-3 and 8, 9, 11

here's a smashing idea - go see the show on the 3rd,
