hi y'all...
so my head has been a little scattered lately,
and i haven't been sending out many announcements.
i guess this time of year gets kind of busy, eh?

well, there are a couple of cool gigs coming up that should be fun.
BUT - here's the thing...
i need your help in keeping tabs on the great entertainment
this city has to offer. if you know of some fun events, shows
or entertainment of any kind, PLEASE let me know!
i'll be happy to put them on my calendar and emails.

:: planet butter - thursday at the zoo bar ::

by now you all know i have a soft spot for the funky music.
well, lincoln's premier original funk band will be showcasing
their stuff on thursday at the zoo bar. cover should be less than $5.
show your support for lincoln's own funkmasters.

:: baby needs shoes on friday ::

first off, my mom's trio, baby needs shoes, will be
performing at the burkholder project in the haymarket
on friday at 6. they'll be singing some andrews sisters tunes
and some more contemporary fun stuff which is truly a delight.
although i may be partial, i'm not exaggerating when i say
these ladies are a blast to see and hear.
if you're bopping around downtown on friday,
stick your head in the burkholder project and
see for yourself! :-)

the incomparable paul pearson has concocted another
evening of singular entertainment. his production of
alice in wonderland starts this weekend at the playhouse.
