take a spontaneous bite
of life on wednesday.
i know you have stuff to do.
but you can do it another time.
there's a man in omaha on wednesday
that will lighten your load, at least for an evening.
i'm absolutely brokenhearted
that i have a show at the playhouse that night.
can you believe i just said that? i *love* the show i'm in.
but i'm absolutely serious when i say,
if there was an understudy for my part,
he'd be calling his family to come see him on wednesday,
because i would be listening to a man and his drum.
vinx has one of those deep
rich voices that
sounds like he's singing harmony with himself.
his songs tells stories of the heart.
he accompanies himself with african percussion
that make all the songs resonate on the deepest level.
and the intimate venue will surely make this
a personal experience.
whatever you have to do on
wednesday can wait for another time.
think about it.
it'd be a pain, but you could rearrange your schedule.
and think of it this way, if you go to see vinx on wednesday,
you'll have a story you'll love telling in the coming weeks,
can you say the same of your existing plans?
you didn't get in to see
the youngblood brass band,
and they reduced the zoo bar to rubble.
you missed the longest baddest reggae concert
to hit lincoln in years.
don't miss the man that could top both of those shows.

twenty years from now you
will be more disappointed by
the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do.
so throw off the bowlines. sail away from the safe harbor.
catch the trade winds in your sails. explore. dream. discover.
