:: The Hamlet Cabaret :: This is going to be a royal blast!!!

Unmasked, de-frocked, but not necessarily unplugged.
The fantastically talented cast members of Hamlet will be performing
a cabaret show after the play on Friday, April 11, only!
We'll probably be in the bar at the Haymarket Theater
and start about 10 pm. We're asking for a couple of bucks
to pay for the staff and space.

There will be singing, standup, dramatic interpretations
and who knows what else.

This is going to be so much fun, I can't wait!!
Show up early for a good table, grab a beverage and sit back.
The play may be the thing, but the cabaret is where it's at.

:: Hamlet - Final Weekend ::

I cannot express to you how great this show is.
Joel Story wrote a letter to the editor last weekend saying:
"It's legitimate theatre at its local best. It's real drama."
Read the full letter here. (thanks a ton, joel.)

I echo his sentiments completely. This cast is phenomenal.
If you've had trouble understanding Shakespeare before,
come see this show anyway! The actors are so good,
you'll be able to understand it. You'll laugh, your jaw will drop,
and if you aren't careful, you may just tear up a bit.

These critical times heighten our sense of change in our selves and our world. Transition is a time of passage and initiation, when we bid farewell to old identities and lay the groundwork for a new sense of self. As we dance through the "in between" we are often confronted with the sadness of letting go, the difficulty of living with uncertainty and disorientation and the excitement of uncovering new possibilities. The workshop is an opportunity to gather meaning and to integrate the many phases of transition. Work with teachings from various spiritual traditions including Jungian psychology an alchemy to explore ways to detach from old roles and expectations. Meditation, storytelling, and small group sharing help plant seeds for the new through development of intuition, discernment, and creative imagination.
Learn and use ritual to mark the process of completion, passage and rebirth.
