haymarket theatre presents a children’s production of the classic musical, oklahoma! oklahoma! tells of fun, love and romance in the lives of the families living in the oklahoma territory at the turn of the century.

the haymarket theatre is located at 803 q street.
performance dates are may 15-18 and may 22-25.

What is a poetry Slam?
It's competition poetry; meaning humor, politics, enlightenment, sex, entertainment masquerading as literature, literature masquerading as entertainment. Poets will read, then judges will flash Olympic-style scoring to determine who goes on to the next round until there's just one poet left standing as the champion.
