will be at foundation gardens (by the popcorn place
across the street from the YWCA) at NOON today!!
(i'm assuming you're getting this on wednesday)
grab a sack lunch at doozy's or subway, and come
enjoy the soothing sounds of these fine ladies.
and as a bonus treat, my sister will be bringing
her adorable little girl for a portion of the noon hour.
so come swoon over the landis women at noon!

i sat in on a footloose rehearsal tonight.
wow. this is going to be a blast!

AND on the opening saturday - july 12, i will be the mc for the footloose cabaret!
there will be many on hand to celebrate the music, dance and fashion of the 80s!

favorite 80s-wear, and take a trip down one-hit-wonder paradise!

Please pass the word along that ushers are needed for all performances of the 2003 Nebraska Repertory Theatre season. Ushers may select one performance or many. Ushers are required to report 45 minutes prior to curtain and stay for the entire performance.

Fat Blu Cat plays its inaugural gig at the Cortland Bar and Grill on Sunday, July 6th, from 4 to 7 p.m.

:: Baby Needs Shoes - Jammin' In July ::

The vocal trio, Baby Needs Shoes, will be performing their energy filled show in several Lincoln venues during the month of July. Melodee Landis, Nancy Marshall, and Terri Jo Dahlquist team together to bring a fun filled show featuring their renditions of popular Andrews Sisters songs and others from the World War two era. Baby Needs Shoes also incorporates contemporary jazz songs, comedy songs, and a variety of tunes to entertain all ages. The trio also showcases their talents on instruments such as piano, guitar, flute, and violin.

Baby Needs Shoes released their “Shoe Shoe Baby” CD last September and has enjoyed glowing reviews. A holiday recording is in the planning stages along with many performances through the Nebraska Arts Council touring roster of which this trio is a part.
