if you've seen a good musical at the playhouse in the last few years,
there's a good chance you've seen justine runge.
he's great. his break-out performance in footloose was hysterical.
well, he's in an a capella group called no better cause.

they'll be performing at southpointe pavillions on friday
as part of their free concert series.
the boys will start singing at 6:30...don't be late!

:: angels company benefit cabaret ::

the angels company has put on a bunch of great live events.
they have huge visions but a very small budget.
so they're going to put on an evening of live music at the
james arthur vineyards and ask you to pay $15 for it.
$10 of that ticket goes to the angels company
$5 goes to the vineyard for use of their peaceful space and a glass of wine.
the vineyards is a great place to relax and soak up some beautiful music.

Butter Sculpture: demo & talk

Watch the Monks demonstrate and discuss the intricate art of Butter Sculpture. This ancient art form, though not as well known as sand mandalas, also signifies impermanance. The sculptures, a beautiful display of color and artistry, are used as offerings to please celestial guests. Sizes can range from several centimeters to over a story tall!
