:: visiting mr. green ::
"Visiting Mr. Green" by Jeff Baron is a cannily crafted comedy with a deeply moving story about friendship, family, open-mindedness and forgiveness. Mr. Green is an elderly, retired dry cleaner that wanders into traffic and is almost hit by a car driven by a 29-year-old corporate executive. The young man is charged with reckless driving and is given a community service sentence of helping Mr. Green once a week for six months. The play follows the two men's growing and changing relationship and turns into a gripping moving drama as they show each other how to move on with their lives.
VMG features costumes by Cate Wieck. She's done about a hundred million costumes for Lincoln's Community Playhouse and always puts a fresh look on the stage.
