Womenfolk is a five-piece group featuring local songwriters, DeAnn Allison, Deb Davis, Patty Oliver, Pama Heikes, and Terri Jo Dahlquist. Womenfolk combines traditional folk music and new compositions written by its members. A variety of instruments brings out the varied talents of this group.Among the five women, they play guitars, flutes, bass guitar, mandolin, autoharp, fiddle, drums, various wood flutes & penny whistles, and a wide range of percussion instruments.

Alligator String Choir is a five-women acoustic ensemble that celebrates novelty, swing, old-timey and folk tunes. Christy Hargesheimer, DeAnn Jaworski, Pat Kurtenbach, Melodee Landis and Nancy Wehrbein make up this eccentric group that has been together since the 1980's singing and playing fiddles, banjo, guitars and string bass. When the Alligators make one of their rare appearances, you're sure to hear some tunes you know and chuckle at some you don't.

Baby Needs Shoes is a vocal trio that takes you on a musical journey through old familiar favorites, new songs, comedy songs, and their own original compositions. This group combines the three solo careers of Nancy Marshall, Melodee Landis, and Terri Jo Dahlquist into a showcase for intertwining harmonies and personalities. These women bring to their performance the love of music and humor of "day to day" life! Baby Needs Shoes is part of the Nebraska Arts Council touring roster. Their latest CD is the popular, Shoe Shoe Baby, released in Sept. 2002.
