:: Wee Brazen Hussies ::

Deb Davis, Pat Oliver & Barb Biffle provide their fans with a wide-ranging repertoire of sometimes tender, and frequently saucy renditions of Folk, Celtic & original songs.

The group delights in performing a number of songs, many of which are well over a hundred years old, that most of the audience probably has not heard before. They interweave these with more familiar favorites, and add a dash of Hussie Humor to the mix to keep folks singing along, and coming back for more.

Every show is different, and their collection of strange and fascinating instruments just keeps getting better and better!

June 18 - 7 - 8 pm - Antelope Park Bandshell - City of Lincoln's "That's Entertainment" Series - The day before Fathers' Day. Hussie Fun for All!
June 24 - 7:30 - 9:30 pm - The Blend Coffeehouse - Lincoln, NE - 4900 North 26th (1 1/2 blocks North of 27th & Superior)
Aug 27 7:30 to 9:30 pm - Crescent Moon Coffee Courtyard, 816 "P" Street, Lincoln Haymarket

Wee Brazen Hussies...making the word "Hussy" respectable again, one audience at a time!

:: Summerstock 2 ::

What happens when a diverse group of artists ponder the summer-time themes of heat, travel and escape? SUMMERSTOCK 2 - a multi-disciplinary collaboration. This second installment of the Rough Magic/Angels' version of summer theatre features a company of 5 directors, 24 actors, 12 scripts, 9 playwrights, and a plethora of visual and musical artists.

Warm, honest, sometimes silly, and often thought provoking, these short plays presented together create SUMMERSTOCK 2 - a fun and relaxing night of theatre. The Angels Theatre Company and Rough Magic Productions have come together again to showcase local actors presenting local works. In our effort to forge new relations and aesthetic connections, a gallery of visual art and music pre-shows will accompany the production..
