:: Trey Songz with Rated E ::
He loved hip-hop growing up, but the only R&B he could get into was R. Kelly. But when his friends heard his perfect tenor voice, they pushed Trey Songz to drop rap and start crooning. He did, and after winning numerous talent shows in his native Petersburg, VA, the 15-year-old singer met Troy Taylor, who had worked behind the scenes with Patti LaBelle, SWV, and B2K. Taylor encouraged Trey to finish high school, and then they could talk about a possible music career. Trey got his diploma and immediately moved to New Jersey to work with Taylor. Soon the singer was appearing on Kevin Lyttle's debut album and Trick Daddy's Thug Matrimony as a sideman as well as breaking out on his own with his solo cut, "About the Game," from the Coach Carter soundtrack. As he was working on his debut album — and some collaborations with Lil' Kim, Trina, and Snoop Dogg — he released some street-level mixtapes under his alias, the Prince of Virginia. His proper debut, Gotta Make It, was released by Atlantic in 2005.

Neal and Leandra
Neal Hagberg and Leandra Peak have a simplicity and directness in their songs that is both disarming and elegant. The Washington Post says "as songwriters, Neal & Leandra have clearly mastered the art of saying more with less." The Minneapolis StarTribune says "listening to Leandra Peak’s distinctively husky and lustrous voice might be as heavenly as listening to angels". They have developed a following here and are regulars on the LAFTA stage.

:: Black Angel ::
Black Angel is set in a small village in France where Martin Engel, a former SS officer accused of officiating over the massacre of 247 Jews in that very town during World War II, has come (after being released from prison) hoping to build a house and live out his days in peace and solitude. Although the war crimes authorities are satisfied that Engel has paid his debt to society the local townspeople are not of the same mind, and his presence becomes a growing irritant.

:: The Music of Led Zeppelin ::
Bridging the gap between rock and roll and classical music, the Omaha Symphony will perform The Music of Led Zeppelin. Expanded by a full rock band, light show and accompanied by singer Randy Jackson’s powerful vocals, guest conductor Brent Havens will lead the orchestra as they capture Led Zeppelin’s legendary repertoire and create a unique musical experience for everyone.
Created by Havens, The Music of Led Zeppelin takes the intricate rhythm patterns and unusual progressions of Led Zeppelin’s music, adds some colors, and enhances what the band originally created. “Having an orchestra behind our band gives the music a richness, a whole different feel, a whole different sense of power,” said Havens.
The two-plus hour concert features 18 Led Zeppelin tunes, including Stairway to Heaven, Heartbreaker, Black Dog, Kashmir and Immigrant Song.
