:: Kid Simple ::

The Lincoln Community Playhouse, in association with Rough Magic Productions, present KID-SIMPLE, a radio play in the flesh by Jordan Harrison.

KID-SIMPLE follows a young genius named Moll as she invents a machine that can detect sounds that are beyond the range of hearing (the footsteps of spiders, faraway shipwrecks, the sound of heartbreak). Unfortunately, the machine is desired by evil forces who hire a master of disguise to obtain it for them. It's up to Moll and her virginal friend Oliver to save sound (and the universe) as we know it from total chaos. A narrator and onstage foley artist help tell this hysterically funny, blazingly original, and ultimately poignant story.

:: Prairie Vibrations: Reggae On The Plains ::

Middle Massive Reggae Series Lincoln Reggae Event - This year we have decided to put together a small reggae festival called "Prairie Vibrations: Reggae on the Plains" to further the awareness of the Midwest reggae scene and bring the people of Lincoln a new musical and cultural experience.

We have invited reggae inspired groups from around the region to come and play their style of music, as well as a Selector to entertain in between acts. With this diverse spectrum of musical tastes and interests displayed, we hope to bring an alternative to Lincolns' yearly musical event options.

Prairie Vibrations: Reggae On the Plains a Gold-I-Locks production hosted by Lincolns own RC Dub. This is the first of a Middle Massive Reggae Series event designed by members of RC Dub to bring some of the regions best reggae groups together and uplift the status of the Midwest's emerging reggae scene as well as spread awareness of the Lincoln massive.

Come out to hear some great music and show your support for the Midwest reggae scene!
