:: propagandART ~ march 29, 2006 ::

man, i love this town. i just came from the leid center where some hip-hop musicians, jazz musicians and classically trained musician got together and...well...jammed. it was really cool to see each musician step outside their comfort zone and work with new styles and flavors of music. there weren't a lot of people there, but there was a great energy bouncing around in there simply because it was something different. i know i'm still feeling the buzz.

and speaking of buzz, the learned project has a new gig...
april 28th at the del ray ballroom. this is also vince's 40 birthday!
the show starts at 9pm and will run til late.
we're preparing about 60 mins of new music that we'll play first.
there's some great damn stuff percolating. some obvious...some not.
tickets are now available from the guys in the band for $10.
so holler if you want em and help vince celebrate! :-)

(oh...and by the way...my mom LOVED roller derby.)
