In an exciting collaboration between Tugboat Gallery and the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery, the Sheldon's curator Dan Siedell has selected NYC artist Charley Friedman to exhibit a video in the Tugboat space May 5th-27th. The Emergency Room, part of Tugboat Gallery will exhibit Kojo Griffin's newest work from May 5th-12th. Kojo is an Atlanta-based artist who is nationally recognized and will be displaying never before exhibited work. Opening receptions for all artists will be held on Friday May 5th from 8:30-10pm.

''Tugboat Presents:'' an ongoing series of group shows curated by Tugboat Gallery will exhibit in the offices and coatroom of The Sheldon May 5th-14th, with the Opening Reception going from 5-7pm on May 5th. This show will be a follow up to the first successful ''Tugboat Presents:'' that happened 4 months ago at Hot Shops Art Center in Omaha, NE.

The 15- to 20-minute discussion will take place in the Suzanne and Walter Scott Recital Hall at the Holland Performing Arts Center. This pre-performance discussion series is a special bonus for ticket holders.
