:: Duet ::

Hi Matt,
We actually opened this show last Friday night, but with the holiday weekend and other weekend distractions, we thought we'd do it all over again! We are actually hosting an "Esquivel Extra" Second Chance Opening at the Against The Wall Gallery 6220 Havelock Ave. Friday night Sept. 15th from 7 to 9pm! Gourmet coffee and deserts are being served and we'd LOVE to see you there.

The show is a collaborative effort. That is, that Ronda shot some unusual black & white photographs to which I then applied a variety of painting mediums (oil pastel, acrylics, inks etc.) which make the resulting pieces a unique combination of her art and mine.  Additionally, Ronda took some of my paintings that I did especially for this show added some distinctive objects and produced some beautiful color photographic still lifes. Hence the name "DUET." Along with this featured new work, there will be my paintings and her photographs by  us individually in another area of the gallery.
